Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At TripJiyo, we strive to ensure a smooth, transparent, and hassle-free booking experience for all our travelers exploring Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. We understand that plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the applicable timelines, charges, and process for cancellations and refund requests.

2. Standard Tour Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your written cancellation request relative to the scheduled departure / arrival date:

• 30 days or more prior to arrival: 10% administrative processing fee on the total package cost.
• 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation charge on the total package cost.
• 7 to 14 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation charge on the total package cost.
• Less than 7 days prior to arrival / No-show: 100% cancellation charge (strictly non-refundable).

3. Refund Processing & Timelines

Once your cancellation request is verified and approved:

• Eligible refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment (bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card) within 7 to 10 business days.
• Any convenience fees, gateway charges, or banking transaction fees charged by third-party processors are non-refundable.
• In cases where hotel partners or houseboat operators retain non-refundable booking tokens, such sums will be deducted in accordance with their individual property policies.

4. Weather & Unforeseen Event Contingencies

Given the mountainous topography of Kashmir and Ladakh, severe weather conditions (e.g., heavy snowfall, highway closures, flight cancellations) may occasionally affect travel itineraries. In such events:

• We will make reasonable adjustments to reschedule your tour dates or re-route your itinerary without extra service fees, subject to hotel and transport availability.
• Direct costs incurred for completed days of travel or non-refundable hotel allocations cannot be refunded.
